800 km from Nizwa to Salalah - You see only desert! About 200 km interval, there are fule stations, restaurants and groceries. A few motels also found. Started at 6.00 am from Nizwa and reached Salalah at 7.15 pm with 890km running! A monotonous driving. Taking rest at motel and spending about 45 minutes relaxing at each stations, it was not that tiresome.
